Sabine Leuthold can draw on experience in various institutions:

She was a design lecturer at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) for four years in the object design field of study. She also led interdisciplinary teaching assignments, trend seminars and study weeks.

At Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK) she worked as a lecturer in design and theory in the IKEA Interior Design Development Program.

For the Bern University of Applied Sciences, she was in the teaching team of two interdisciplinary summer schools that were held in Japan.

ABOUT

Sabine Leuthold holds a degree in product design from the renowned Art&Design University Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL). She is currently studying for a master’s degree in service design at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU).

As a product designer, she has designed furniture, lighting and carpets for national and international design brands – including de Sede, Fambuena, Tisca Tiara – with collaborations often involving strategic brand management.

Some of her works have become classics and are now part of the permanent collection of the Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich.

Sabine Leuthold’s latest projects are in the field of exhibition design and interior architecture, where she translates and applies her many years of experience in the design of functional, aesthetic, economic and ecological objects to the built environment.
